April Tea Party with Indigo Herbs Hibiscus Tea

Are you ready for this April Tea Party? It’s National Tea Day or rather National Tea Weekend happening on 21st -22nd April! Do join us with a cuppa. Try this beautiful red infusion Hibiscus Tea from Indigo Herbs.

April Tea Party with Indigo Herbs Hibiscus Tea

This tea reminds me of my second home (Thailand) for some reasons. I use to drink a lot of Hibiscus Tea during our winter months or during the cold nights to warm up our bodies. I also drink them during the day as Hibiscus Tea Ice-Tea to cool us down from the hot heat. I didn’t really think about its benefits to my body at that time as I was still very young. Not until now, I’ve only discovered the benefits of it; with its high in Vitamin C and traditionally used to treat high blood pressure – no wonder it is such a popular drink.

With Indigo-Herbs, only the very best full grown Hibiscus Flowers are harvested and then slow dried in shade for that perfect moisture level. All batches are tested for foreign chemicals and toxins before being packed in a re-sealable air tight, foil pouch and made ready for shipping. It is 100% pure botanical ingredients, absolutely nothing added.

Brewing your perfect cup of Hibiscus Tea.

Brewing loose leaves is a traditional art and the rule of thumb is to use one teaspoon of loose leaf tea per person, or one tablespoon for a pot. Let loose leaves to brew around 5-10 minutes to allow the flowers to fully release their beneficial aromatic phyto-chemical content. Because of the time it takes, you might like to find a tea cosy for your pot also. You may even consider heating the pot first. Once it is fully infused, take this time to sit and enjoy the tea. Relax a little. You may even want to listen to our prepared 1 minute soothing music we’ve made for you to enjoy with your lovely Hibiscus Tea too.

So, would I recommend it? Yes, of-course. I think if you don’t have Indigo Herbs Hibiscus Tea at the table, then you’ll be missing something. Why not give Indigo Herbs Hibiscus Tea a try, I’m sure your April Tea Party guests will be most impressed with your sense of taste. Plus as a side note to this, this tea will go deliciously well with scones, jam and cream too. Emmm! I can hear the tea brewing already.

Who would you invite to your April Tea Party? Do let us know in the comment below, we love to hear all about it.

Thank you for reading,

Su x
