In previous week, I’ve wrote two posts about this coming International Waffle Day – 25 March. If you missed it, perhaps you’ll like to give it a little visit here:-

 

There has been some feedback saying that they love waffle but has gone gluten free and is now in search for a recipe that is gluten free. Well, I have good news for you my friends! I have created for you here a gluten free and no egg waffle recipe! How about that! I know. Don’t thank me – thank Indigo Herbs!

 

White Mulberries Waffle With Indigo Herbs

 

In this recipe, I’d like to introduce you two ingredients from Indigo Herbs:

 

Let’s have a look at the benefits of their Organic Soya Flour:

  • Very High in Protein, Dietary Fibre, Vitamins and minerals.
  • High in B Complex Vitamins – B1, B2, B3, B6 and B9 (Folate), E, K & Calcium
  • Source of Potassium, Phosphorus, Magnesium, Iron, Zinc, Copper, Manganese, & Pantothenic Acid.
  • Suitable for vegans and vegetarians
  • Great Alternative to regular Flour
  • Organic Soya Flour does not naturally contain gluten, however it is handled in an area that stores gluten containing products.

If you don't have organic ingredients - then just normal ingredients are absolutely fine.

Prep Time 5 minutes
Cook Time 15 minutes

Prep Time 5 minutes

Waffle Mix
White Mulberries Waffle With Indigo Herbs
Instructions
  1. Pour all ingredients into a mixing bowl.
  2. Blend with a wooden spoon. Or with an electric hand blender if you have one - until thick, sticky and smooth.
  3. Paint the waffle maker with a knob of butter to prevent the waffle sticking onto the waffle maker.
  4. Pour the mix into the waffle maker.
  5. Cook until golden brown.
  6. Wait 2 minutes for the waffles to cool down before serving, otherwise it will break. Add toppings to taste.
