The gig start off with little stretches, then there were a little bit of 70’s boogie mixed with children’s song. Followed with the modern pop and old classics. Half an hour in and the dance floor was in full swing! Mums, Dads, kids all have joined in the boogie! The dance floor was accompanied by two friendly faces: Fran and Dan. OH! They were brillant!
Then there was the dinosaur song. Every body did the Roar! and Rarr! action – it was hilarious!
Do you know the “Sleeping Bunnies“ song? Where everyone has to laid down and pretend to be a sleep then when its time to wake up – they jump and hop hop hop. Everyone was totally in sync with that! Evelyn on the other hand was so worn out (as she only had half hour sleep before the the gig) – she took advantaged of this situation and decided to stayed on the mat whilst everyone got up and did the conga line.
The gig ends with “The Time of my Life” Dirty Dancing song, and you could see little babies hovering between the disco lights – oh it was quite a sight!
At the end, stickers were given out – adults gets them too! 😉 And as you can see on the very first photo we also had our little photo session with DJ Monski Mouses herself too! DJ Monski Mouses and her team were ever so friendly.
We decided it was ice cream time there after. Whilst we were queuing, I overheard a Dad talking to his daughter and expressed how they both enjoyed the disco. It was so nice to see such a great friendly parents-kids atmosphere. It was also a great event for friends to catch up and I could see that by the end of the day – my little girl and my friend’s little girl have also became besties too.
The venue was great. It was not crowded at all – enough manoeuvre room for everyone’s arm to stretch and swing their boogie legs about. There was a beer stall available inside for anyone who fancied one or two within the 50 minutes gig. People are felt free to come in and out anytime if needs to. The dance floor was also equipped with fully air conditioned theatre – so there were no sweaty bodies in sight – which was great considering it was 26°C outside. There were pillows and cushions around the theatre – good enough to bring Evelyn to almost asleep! lol!
All-in-all, I think Evelyn has absolutely enjoyed her first disco dance, and so have us all. I would absolutely recommend this place for anyone who wants to entertain their kids of all ages under 5. It is entertaining; the kids get to dance until their heart content, you also get to move your strut, everybody’s happy! Results!
Thank you DJ Monski Mouses and the team for inviting us to review your absolutely amazing gig. We have had one of the best time! There are so many more beautiful photographs taken on the day, so do stay turned on my Instagram and Facebook to see more!
