Trespass Sportswear Review

Yep, I’ve taken the plunge. I am trying to get fit this year by signing myself up to do The Color Obstacle Rush. I know! Bonkers – right! I haven’t been to the gym since I was pregnant with Ethan and that was about seven years ago!

Since last September, I’ve started cycling to the kids’ schools every mornings and evenings with Evelyn harnessed at the back of mine, and the bonus is Ethan can already cycle on his own. I do feel just a tangent much healthier but I know I should do much more since the cycle from home to school is only 10 -15 mins journey. That is nowhere near enough where I wanted to be in term of fitness, but at the same time – I don’t want to stress out.

So I thought Ah-Ha! The Colour Run will be for me.

What is the Colour Obstacle Rush?

The Colour Obstacle Rush is designed for anyone aged 12 and above. However, the inflatable obstacles are intended for adults so they might be challenging for children. Anyone under 18 entering the Colour Obstacle Rush must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all time. One guardian can be in charge of a maximum of 5 minors during the event. Please note that the parent/guardian must also be a registered participant in the event at the same start group as the minor.*

Since I have not been to the gym – for like seven years! Yes! Years! I did not have a pair of trainers and I was looking for something to do the run with, luckily Trespass got in touch with me and asked if I wanted to review their sportswear for them. I immediately said “Yes!”.

I chose the following two items to review:

  • LUMI WOMENS REFLECTIVE JACKET
  • FELL WOMENS TRAINERS

Now then – let’s first take a look at the

  • LUMI WOMENS REFLECTIVE JACKET

    NOW £29.49    WAS £73.99   SAVE 60%

This jacket is specify design for women. It is great for as an outer layer jacket when you are training as it is made out of lightweight fabric. It also has a windproof finish that deflects gust of winds so they aren’t able to pass through to the interior. Furthermore, the fabric also boasts a water resistant finish that repels external moisture such as rain or mist to leave the inside dry.

I love it’s reflective fabric with high level of visibility when out in low light or dark conditions meaning pedestrians and road users will be able to spot you quickly and clearly. This will be perfect for my morning or late evenings runs.

I love the elasticated binding at the collar, hem and cuffs which enables you to move around freely without restrictive. Plus it has two lower zip pockets providing easy access and secure place to keep my phone or MP3 without worrying about it falling out.

I also love the colour grey with pink details. It has a tad of  femininity but not overly done. But what I really love about this is the fact it is long enough at the back to cover my big bum! Yes, I am rather conscious about it.

  • FELL WOMENS TRAINERS

NOW£30.99   WAS £61.99    SAVE 50%

I know – it’s suded. Who would buy a suded trainers – right? But actually, I take it all back. It is super comfy and if it does get wet in the rain (in my case – they kids got my hold of it and dunk it in the bath! Holly! … I was really upset with the kids as I had not had a proper pair of trainers for two whole years!) Anyhow, I placed it over the radiator and it actually dries super quick! I was amazed!

I actually wear these everyday now. They are extremely comfortable. I’ve also found out that the flow lacing system enables you to achieve a secure fit meaning you won’t have to worry about slipping out your shoe regardless of the terrain you are covering.*

It’s contoured and cushioned footbed also provides me with extra comfort while the arch stabilises and supportive shank gives me the support I need even on short journeys, such as the school runs. The mesh fabrics helps my feet stay fresh and dry. The rubber soles give me improved stability on uneven surfaces too. Yep, this is an excellent choice for busy bees like me who want to get around in comfort.

So will I recommend you Trespass gears, my answer is “Yes!”

Thank you Trespass for sending these items.

The question is… Will I survive The Color Obstacle Rush come June 3rd? Eeekk!! I better get training!

i buy a lot of stuff from there for my eldest child who is disabled, she needs specialist hospital boots which are expensive and ugly, so i started buying the walking boots from there, at a really good price, they last her for ages as her feet don’t grow and the boot dr said they were perfect for her and did the job as good as he could
