Well, boys and girls… it’s Half-Term next week! Yeay!
If you are still stuck on ideas on what to do – then one place to visit is the London RAF Museum, and the Admission is Free! We love Free!
Apart seeing from a vast range of different aeroplanes from many different eras, add a little bit extras – then you’ll have even more activities to undercover this Half-Term:
- Airfix: Make and Take – Make and take home your very own Albatros kit! (Mon. 13 – Fri. 17 Feb.; ages 8+; £3 per person) After building your model, the Museum will be offering participants 10% discount on model kits from the souvenir shop.
- Inter- and Intra-Theatre Learning and British Coastal Air Power in the Second World War (At No. 4 Hamilton Place, London W1J 7BQ at 18:30PM on Tuesday 14 February 2017. Free)
How to get there?
Via Public Transport
The easiest way to get there is by public transport via underground Northern line (Black). The closest station to the RAF Museum is Colindale, which is on the north bound.
The key locations where you can get direct transportation from are:
South Kensington Station – which only takes 43 minutes;
Charing Cross Station – 35 minutes; &
King Cross St. Pancras Station – 30 minutes.
If you don’t wish to travel on public transport then don’t worry – there is also a car parking charge which is payable. Currently, it is being re-done, but it should be ready for you for half-term time. So you shouldn’t have any problem at all with finding a car parking space when visiting the RAF Museum.
SAT NAV Users Please use postcode NW9 5QW.
