How to get there?

Via Public Transport

The easiest way to get there is by public transport via underground Northern line (Black). The closest station to the RAF Museum is Colindale, which is on the north bound.

The key locations where you can get direct transportation from are:

South Kensington Station – which only takes 43 minutes;

Charing Cross Station – 35 minutes; &

King Cross St. Pancras Station – 30 minutes.

Via Car

If you don’t wish to travel on public transport then don’t worry – there is also a car parking charge which is payable. Currently, it is being re-done, but it should be ready for you for half-term time.  So you shouldn’t have any problem at all with finding a car parking space when visiting the RAF Museum.

    We love all the museums in London – I feel so lucky we can just jump on a train and be there so quickly. Last time we went to the Science museum and Natural History museum. Must give this one a try! Sarah #FabFridayPost

    I did look at this and wanted to take Leo but he is still a bit too young and London is just way too far to go for us just to go to a museum.. however, when we decide to go London we’re going to make a weekend of it 🙂 #fabfridaypost

      I know what you mean. It takes us around 1 hour roughly, but can be 2 hours with bad traffic! Hope you’ll get a chance to go soon. x

    Looks like a very interesting place. Too bad it’s so far away for us. I don’t think we’ll be visiting anytime soon. #FabFridayPos
