Hello! It’s #ExplorerKids – Round Up #17 IG community. The gallery is looks amazing as per usual with so many wonderful talented #ExplorerKids Instagram people.

So here are my 4 favourites:#ExplorerKids – Round Up #17

The beach this morning is perfection. I needed this time to be still and breathe. And I think he needed this time to play freely, uninterrupted.

Such a wonderful photo. Such a serenity.

I can’t read this but I am guessing – it is the Swedish Alps. It is such a great way to explorer with kids.

Remembering history. [This amazing tree has sad and horrible part in the history of the area. It is called the Derby Prison Boab, and it was used to hold Indigenous (Australian Aborigines) prisoners as the troupers moved them south. They were imprisoned inside this tree overnight so the troopers didn’t have to “worry” they would attack them. The boys were amazed at the tree and horrified to hear its history. Tristan especially wanted to know why someone would ever do that, something I couldn’t really explain except to say that history always has its horrible moments and we should always learn from them. That treating people badly just because they are from another race or are another colour is wrong. He’s at an age where he doesn’t see any difference, skin colour and race do not matter to him, only how a person acts. I hope he keeps that attitude for as long as he lives. As far as Rowan is concerned you can be whatever colour you want and he wants to be your friend.]

My boy, age 5, he asked me the other day: “Why my skin colour is not the same as yours?” Thank you for this post such an inspiration. <3
