1. Grandma’s Fruits Farm | Thailand

There’s something about my Mum’s farm. The kids loved it there. They went on the watering boat, tasted fresh organically grown lime, mangos, star fruits and feed the fish.

2. Hang On There My Big Sister – I’m coming home.

In late March, we went to Thailand to visit my sister who was terminally ill with lung cancer Stage 4. It was a good visit but we wish that she was strong enough to explore parts of Thailand with us as she is always the one who loves taking us everywhere every time I go back to Thailand. It was at this point #ExplorerKids was born. My sister has been the inspiration of this IG Community and teaming up with Sarah from Kipper and Curtain has made it even clearer for me that we should start this IG Community right away! Since it was the Easter break at the time, we decided to stayed on until towards the end of April. It was a great time catching up with my family and love ones.

4. We are together.

We meet up with my eldest sister, her wonderful husband and my younger brother with his lovely wife with their 7 months old girl for lunch. It was great memory. We went out for a Japanese meal at Fuji Restaurant and Ethan was readily to get tuck in. Without even prompting, I have never seen him trying so hard using chopsticks before. It was a great meal. Everyone had such a lovely time. It was just like old time. My big sister is such a brave girl.

So that’s 2016 Top Posts a wrapped!

Writing about my personal feelings has taught me to be a stronger person. Writing your emotional down for me is a kind of therapy in some degree. Nothing fulfils me more than my personal writings.

#ExplorerKids has experienced an AMAZING year! Sarah and I really enjoy hosting this ever growing community. It has been such an honour.

Working with brands this year has been such fun, from tasting out the products, creating recipes, and even get the chance to get on the grove with friends!

For 2017, I want to write about inspirational things, things that sparks and meaningful to others. If I could get myself publish on the likes of Britmums, Mumsnet, Babycentre, or even The Huffington Post – that would be amazing!

Thank you so much everyone for reading, commenting and sharing my blog posts in 2016 I appreciate it more than you’ll ever know.

What a big year for you! Putting it all on one page is a bit of an emotional rollercoaster I’m sure! I also love my blog as a bit of therapy, I think writing is not only therapeutic in its own right but also great to get stuff out of my head and once written down things just seem easier or clearer. xx #FabFridayPost

I want to do a best of list of my own blog posts but I don’t know which metrics to use, or how to quantify it! If you feel like sharing how you made your decision, drop me an email!

What a great year you’ve had, Su! Writing can be very therapeutic indeed – reading a couple posts about your sister made me cry 🙁 I’m so sorry for your loss – as we age, unfortunately it’s one of those things that we lose those close to us but to lose someone as young as your sister is a very difficult thing to deal with :(( #FabFridayPost
