There’s something about my Mum’s farm. The kids loved it there. They went on the watering boat, tasted fresh organically grown lime, mangos, star fruits and feed the fish.
In late March, we went to Thailand to visit my sister who was terminally ill with lung cancer Stage 4. It was a good visit but we wish that she was strong enough to explore parts of Thailand with us as she is always the one who loves taking us everywhere every time I go back to Thailand. It was at this point #ExplorerKids was born. My sister has been the inspiration of this IG Community and teaming up with Sarah from Kipper and Curtain has made it even clearer for me that we should start this IG Community right away! Since it was the Easter break at the time, we decided to stayed on until towards the end of April. It was a great time catching up with my family and love ones.
I can not believe since Sarah @kippersandcurtains and I started #ExplorerKids, it has just been nothing but received an incredible a massive support from everyone on IG community. Today, we hit 11,380! WOW! Thank you so much for your loving support. It has been an AMAZING YEAR for #ExplorerKids!
I really hope you like travelling with us last year as much as we like traveling with you on #ExplorerKids IG Community which today has hit more than 11.6K! If you are new to our blog then: “Hello! Please do join us on Instagram and be a part of our lovely #ExplorerKids IG Community too. I’d love to see what you’ve been up to”.
Here is #ExplorerKids – December Round Up.
4. We are together.
We meet up with my eldest sister, her wonderful husband and my younger brother with his lovely wife with their 7 months old girl for lunch. It was great memory. We went out for a Japanese meal at Fuji Restaurant and Ethan was readily to get tuck in. Without even prompting, I have never seen him trying so hard using chopsticks before. It was a great meal. Everyone had such a lovely time. It was just like old time. My big sister is such a brave girl.
I wrote “7 Ways to Gift Your Man on Valentine’s Day” and I also got a chance to review these special personalised gifts that I have specially designed!
VTech has invited us to have an exclusive singing workshop with celebrity vocal coach CeCe Sammy! Oh-la-la! Who can decline such an once-in-a-lifetime chance to take part in an interactive and fun singing workshop with vocal expert CeCe best known for her work on The Voice, X-Factor, and Pop Idol! CeCe has a long list of celebrity clients who have turned to her for her expert coaching including Leona Lewis, Charlotte Church, and Rochelle Humes from The Saturdays.
I wrote about my flight back to Thailand to only discovered that I was too late to meet up with her one last time. I was heartbroken.
My first sponsored post ever! Indigo Herbs has sponsored my to go to BritMums Live! (#BML16). Unfortunately, I was unable to attend as I was attending my sister funeral at that time. As well has having one of the most amazing products out there Indigo Herbs has been nothing but the most understanding brand I have worked with. I hope I can make it up to them soon.
9. Getting the Grove On With My Girls With DJ Monski Mouse! & Your Chance To WIN A Family Ticket Gig!
I was on a roll. After reviewing DJ Monski Mouse Gig in London, DJ Monski Mouse has also kindly sponsored me to go to BritMums Live! (#BML16) too. Again, unfortunately I was unable to attend as I was attending my sister funeral at that time. DJ Monski Mouse is such an amazing women, mum and a amazing DJ! Honestly, it was one of the best date I ever had since having my littles!
We end the year with a health note. I am not a great cook but these recipes from HelloFresh has made it easy for me to become the Chef of the House! Do check out my Instagram for some food inspirations!
So that’s 2016 Top Posts a wrapped!
Writing about my personal feelings has taught me to be a stronger person. Writing your emotional down for me is a kind of therapy in some degree. Nothing fulfils me more than my personal writings.
#ExplorerKids has experienced an AMAZING year! Sarah and I really enjoy hosting this ever growing community. It has been such an honour.
Working with brands this year has been such fun, from tasting out the products, creating recipes, and even get the chance to get on the grove with friends!
For 2017, I want to write about inspirational things, things that sparks and meaningful to others. If I could get myself publish on the likes of Britmums, Mumsnet, Babycentre, or even The Huffington Post – that would be amazing!
Thank you so much everyone for reading, commenting and sharing my blog posts in 2016 I appreciate it more than you’ll ever know.
